About the name "Best.Dentist"

We get asked about the name, so here is the plain answer.

Best.Dentist is a brand name — the name of this website and the company service that runs it, operated by ADPLUS MEDIA INC. It is the name we registered and built under, in the same way a shop or a newspaper has a name.

It is not a ranking, a rating, or a claim. We do not say — here or anywhere — that a dentist listed on this site is "the best", better than a dentist who isn't listed, or better than another dentist who is. We don't have a basis to say that about anyone, and our listings don't try to. How listings are actually ordered is published in full at How We Rank, and it is based on records anyone can check: state licence records, reviews patients write here, published fees, and availability information.

Paying changes nothing about that. Some practices pay to be listed as Featured; those listings are labelled Sponsored. Payment buys placement and services, never a description, a rating, or a position in the ordinary order.

If a page on this site ever reads as though we are calling a practice the best at something, that is a wording mistake, not our method — please tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it.
